The Department of Biotechnology at Loyola Degree College is newly established with a state-of-the-art laboratory, inaugurated on 18th September 2025. The lab is well-equipped with advanced analytical instruments, operator-driven biotech equipment, and optical microscopes, providing students with strong hands-on exposure. Led by Prof. Joji Reddy, Principal, from this department, the focus is on nurturing practical skills and preparing students for dynamic careers in biotechnology and allied sciences.
