LACT

The Loyola Awareness Cultural Team (LACT) is a dynamic initiative of Loyola Degree College that uses the power of art, culture, and creativity to spread awareness among people. By performing in marketplaces, schools, villages, and communities, LACT educates society on pressing issues such as health, hygiene, women’s empowerment, environmental protection, education, and social responsibility.

Through street plays, skits, songs, and cultural performances, the team engages audiences in a simple, relatable, and impactful way. LACT not only creates social awareness but also builds leadership, creativity, and responsibility among students, shaping them into ambassadors of change.

Vision:
To build a socially conscious society through creative cultural expressions that inspire awareness, responsibility, and positive change.

Mission:
• To educate communities on important social, health, and environmental issues through cultural activities.
• To empower students as change-makers who spread awareness with creativity and empathy.
• To reach villages, marketplaces, and schools with meaningful performances.
• To foster collaboration between education and society for holistic development.
